Here we are, MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

So we are on the 12th day of the 12 nails of Christmas, i hope you’ve enjoyed all the nails. The next one will be as normal in 3 days time again.

Todays nails, on Christmas day, are Christmas nails, and by that i mean the bits that make Christmas.

Day 9 of the 12 nails of Christmas!!!

For day 9 we have gingerbread men. Cute. I’ve always wanted to make a gingerbread house, well, mansion really. With double garages and a driveway. But maybe that’s just me. And of course featuring ‘load bearing candy canes!’

Christmas nails 2012 – Christmas Crackers

Day 7 of the 12 nails of Christmas and it’s Christmas Crackers!!

I have a thing with Christmas crackers. I like to search for the most expensive ones i can find. Not to buy, just to see what you get in them. I like to see the change between all plastic that breaks within the meal time, up to, jewelry boxes to keep and silver key chains.

Day 6 of the 12 nails of Christmas!! We’re half way thought and only 6 days till Christmas!

I was looking through various images of Christmas and this seemed to feature a lot in many of the images, red bows, on everything, mistletoe, holly, bells, etc etc. So i thought they deserved their own nails.

Christmas Baubles! I spent a while wondering how to do these and now have them look like dots.

Day 4 of the 12 nails of Christmas!!

I haven’t put the tree up in the house yet, and yes i say i haven’t as i’m the one who does it each year. I really like Christmas so it works out fine. The only down side if i’m scared of going into the attic to get the decorations as i don’t like spiders and i’m sure they’ll be waiting to jump onto my face as i go up the ladder……..

Snow!! I’ve been searching for white glitter for a while now to see if I could make it look like snow.

I’m actually quite happy with how this looks finished too. I would have changed the ring finger a bit though.

Snowflakes! I adore snow, I get to wear my snow boots!

I tried to use as many different nail varnishes to make the snowflakes on the nails and I love the background texture! it’s like brushes metal. I think it might be my new thing to wear.
