Christmas nails 2012 – Bows

Day 6 of the 12 nails of Christmas!! We’re half way thought and only 6 days till Christmas!

I was looking through various images of Christmas and this seemed to feature a lot in many of the images, red bows, on everything, mistletoe, holly, bells, etc etc. So i thought they deserved their own nails.

Christmas nails 2012 – Red and Green

Day 5 of the 12 nails of Christmas.

And a nice easy design for those who aren’t sure about complex Christmas nails. This is a gloss and matt look.

Geek Series – Pokeball

I was thinking about what else i could put in the geek series and i remembered, while at the wedding of my friend a few weeks back, towards the end of the night an amazing moment happened. The Pokemon theme came on, and what made this moment amazing? We all, in unison, without prompting, started singing along, every word, without missing any. It was a beautiful moment.

Anyway that’s what inspired me to do these nails.

Crystals and stripes

I thought i’d give this look a try. I was more curious to see if i could sit there and glue all these gems on more than anything and well. i can, but only just!

The very Hungry caterpillar

So this look is inspired by bewitchery and her very hungry caterpillar nails. I loved that book as a child so i though, given that today is a bank holiday in the UK, and  had some time spare, i’d give them a try too. I hope you all approve!

This was one of the looks i did for Halloween. I just wanted a simple spooky house and shadows look.

Chinese new year

So for chinese new year, 2012 i did my nails to celebrate the year of the dragon. On the nails i wrote Gong Xi Fai Chi, which means Happy New Year.
