The very Hungry caterpillar

So this look is inspired by bewitchery and her very hungry caterpillar nails. I loved that book as a child so i though, given that today is a bank holiday in the UK, and  had some time spare, i’d give them a try too. I hope you all approve!

The colours i used for this look are:
‘White on White’ by Revlon, ‘749’ by Maybelline, ‘Jucy’ by 17, ‘Peacock’ by 17, ‘Ninja’ by Collection 2000, ‘Spring Green’ by Barry M, ‘Green with Envy’ by Collection 2000, ‘Sulk’ by 17, ‘Emerald Green, by Barry M, ‘Green with Envy’ by Rimmel, ‘Look at me’ by Collection 2000, ‘Mischevious’ by Misguided, ‘Posh Puddle’ by BeautyUK, ‘Purple Reign’ by Rimmel and ‘Pompous’ by Rimmel.
To start this look  i painted the nails with white, so make the colours i painted on top look brighter. Then i started with the red for the face, looking at the shape of his face it’s not quite round so i sketched this out then filled it in. Then one by one i put the segments in starting from behind the head using every shade of green i own as he appears to be made many different shaded segments. Following the image i started the segments on an upwards curve then towards the end started them back down again on the other side.

I then put his feet on both ends, and added the eyes and antenna on too, Not forgetting the small hairs along his back and the yellow ting to the top of each segment. And tah-dah!!! We have our very hungry caterpillar!!

I hope you have fun recreating this look.
