Nesting dolls

I thought these would be cute to do, and i wondered how it would work out. So this is what i came up with!

The colours i used to get this look are: ‘Sulk’ by 17, ‘Matt White’ by Barry M, ‘Aztec’ by BeautyUK, ‘Misty Jade’ by Rimmel, ‘Hot Gossip’ by Rimmel, ‘Strawberry Fizz’ by Rimmel, ‘Berry I/C’ by Barry M, ‘455’ by Miss Sporty, ‘Gloria’ by Andrea Fulerton, ‘Peach Melba’ by Barry M, ‘Pattie’ by Andrea Fulerton, ‘320’ by Miss Sporty, ‘Spring Green’ by Barry M, ‘Go go’ by 17 and ‘Ann’ by Andrea Fulerton.

The main key part of this look is making sure each of the nails are as close to being identical as possible, and this really starts around the size of the face.

So starting with the background colours of each of the nails i used two colours, alternating them on each nail. Then i really carefully put the face on. I started with just placing a dot of nail varnish on each nail, then i started with a small brush and rounded it out slowly until i had it at the perfect size and still round. Then i went in with a brown and the same small brush and put the hair on each of the little characters.

Next i added the eyes, nose and eyebrows, and added the two lines to form the neck and scarf lines. Being very careful i next put in the cheeks and finally on the face was the lips.

Next i moved onto the body and started on the flowers and leaves on the body. Each one of these was slightly different and made up as i did it. But looking at what the dolls have on them i took parts from various dolls. And finally i painted the necktie.

I hope you have fun recreating this look, and i hope this helps.
