it crowd

I adore IT Crowd, so i thought i’d have a go at doing a set of nails. I must admit i put this of for ages, but finally i did them.

The colours i used for this are:

‘Orange Soda’ by 17, ‘Bright Orange’ by MaxFactor, ‘Misty Jade’ by Rimmel, ‘320’ by Miss Sporty, ‘Kaathleen’ by Andrea Fulerton, ‘White on white’ by Revlon, ‘Blackout’ by Rimmel, ‘455’ by Miss Sporty and ‘Hot Gossip’ by Rimmel.

So starting at the top i pick out two oranges very similar but one far brighter than the other and these are the two colours i used for the logo. I had to use a very thin brush to do the font.

The three nails with the faces on have a light green background, i chose this to make sure all the colours in the faces could stand out. and blues on the last nail, as i wanted it to look like the countdown letters.

For the faces, i used a small dotting tool and well, followed the image pixel for pixel. I’m afraid to say there isn’t really a short cut with this. Just make sure you have a good reference image. I started with the hair for each of them, then the face then any features afterwards, working from the top down.
