Yet another halloween look for you all.
Thinking about it, i think i know why everyone likes halloween. It’s a holiday and you have parties, but you don’t need to buy gifts!!! yay! That and you get to dress up and act like an idiot, my favorite things.
Anyway. What’s more creepy that eyeballs, that are looking at you?
The colours i used are:
‘White on white’ by Revlon, ‘Blackout’ by Rimmel, ‘Spring Green’ by Barry M , ‘456’ by Miss Sporty, ‘Dark Brown’ by LA Colour, ‘Jellybean’ by BeautyUK, ‘Marshmallow’ by Rimmel, ‘Unknow shade’ by 2true, ‘Shock’ by LA Colour and Red Carnation’ by LA Colour.
More photo after the cut
After painting on the base colours, which i picked as they’re good contrasting colours to the design but also good halloween colours, i started on painting in the white for the eyeballs. For all the smaller eyes i used my dotting tool, and placed the dots around the nails.
Taking each colour at a time i went through and added the colour of the iris to each eye, trying to space then as i went so it would look like a range of eyes. Finally i took a black and placed a dot in the center of each eye. And this is where i thought i’d leave it on the small eyes.
Thinking about it now, i could have added tiny red veins to the small eyes before i added he iris colour in.
For the big eye. I started out with the white sketching out a large circle in the center of the nail. I found the best way to do this is to start small and work outwards evenly. Then taking a blue i coloured in the iris and a black for the pupil. This time i added a small dot of white to the center of the eye . I also added in red veins around the eye. Looking at it now i should have done this step before i added the colour to the center of the eye.
Sadly before i had a chance to take the photo i smudge the nail while taking it off the holder i used when i was painting it. So the large eye isn’t quite as i wanted it to look.
Anyway, that’s all there is to it. I hope you have fun recreating this look.
