blood dripping

(For some reason this was posted back dated, so no notifications went up and i’m not sure where it went. So here it is!)

Halloween is approaching!! Who doesn’t love Halloween.

So I though let’s have a really simple Halloween look. So I thought id start with dripping blood.

Colours used:

‘Blood Orange’ by Barry M and ‘At first sight’ by OPI.

I first started with the background, here i used a couple coats of at first sight, a nice sheer shimmer nude. It brightens up the nail and evens out the nail colour and texture.

Then using the red i place dots of over the nail in different places. Then i slowly joined the dots up together by drawing a line from them up to the top of the nail.

Making dribbles is shockingly easy. Although to make sure i got it right, i looked at images of candles to get dribbles right. This is where i though to add in double dot drips and dots with no tails as well.

I hope you have fun recreating this simple look for Halloween.
