Yet another part of the geeky series. And again it’s more science geek than anything else but here we go. It’s CERN nails!!!!! I couldn’t fit the whole hadron collider on one nail so that got left out but i did include visual representations of the particle.
The colours i used for this are: ‘White on white’ by Revlon, ‘Blackout’ by Rimmel, ‘320’ by Miss Sporty, ‘456’ by Miss Sporty, ‘Go go’ by 17, ‘Indigo’ by Barry M and ‘Sun downer’ by Rimmel
More photos under the cut.
The first two are both the logo in different colours, as i liked them both, when i was painting them i didn’t realised they were two consecutive sizes i thought one would be the thumb and the other would be the ring finger. Alas, i got thins wrong. Looking at these images now they’re larger i should have tidied them up a bit more.
For the CERN logos, after placing down the i took my finest brush and starting the with the letter ‘E’ i started drawing out the font. Once happy with the way it looked and it’s placement. I started on the circles round t. Starting with the centred one then moving onto the other one.
The next three nails are all visual representations of the particle. I can’t take any credit for then as they were inspired by mock ups from a simple google image search sadly.
I hope you have fun recreating this look. If you dare try it.
