Fireworks

This is the look i did for Fireworks night, and on the little finger i added a little tribute to V for Vendetta.

The colours i used to create this look are: ‘Black Out’ by Rimmel, ‘Electric Blue’ by BeautyUK, ‘Matt White’ by Barry M, ‘Pulsating’ by Rimmel, ‘Green with Envy’ by Collection2000, ‘Shocker’ by Rimmel, ‘Your Majesty’ by Rimmel, ‘Azure’ by Rimmel, ‘Aztec’ by BeautyUK, ‘Red Carpet’ by Rimmel, ‘Go go’ by 17 and the unknown orange shade by 2ture.

I started with painting alternate nails with black out and Electric blue, I chose to have more black than blue as it worked better with the final images i wanted. Then on the little finger i carefully went in with a small oil brush and painted in the ‘V’ from V for Vendetta. Any parts that were too thick or not defined enough i just took the black and the paint brush again and went back through making sure the line was thin and defined by covering up the parts i didn’t want. Then i took red carper and went over all of the white making the final red ‘V’.

With the rest of the nails i went with the white and drew in the exploding fireworks on the ails and some trails going into the fireworks. Some of the colours will standout against the background but some need to be backed with white to make sure the colour can be seen on the background.

With each colour i went in on the nails and added streak of each colour coming away from a centre point as if exploding outwards. Some of the colours i didn’t did on all of the nails to make it took as if there was a colour to the firework. And some i used as a trail to the firework.

I hope you have fun recreating this look.
