Pokemon, Jigglypuff

Running with the Pokemon theme i did a set of Jigglypuff nails.

For this look i used ‘Strawberry Fizz’ by Rimmel, ‘Pattie’ by Andrea Fullerton, ‘Matt White’ by Barry M ‘Rose Libertine’ by Rimmel, ‘Misty Jade’ by Rimmel and ‘Double Decker Red’ by Rimmel.

I started, as i always do with the base coat of Nail rescue from Rimmel. Then i proceeded to use Strawberry fizz as the base colour on my Ring finger and Thumb. As these two nails are the ones with Jigglypuffs faces on and the other nails had a base coat of white.

I started with the pokeballs first and so i drew the circle in the centre of the nail first using Pattie and the two lines on either side on the circle to make the middle of the ball. Then i took double-decker red and filled in the top half of the ball. Now that’s all done we can move onto the other two nails.

Now for Jigglypuffs face. On the base coat of Strawberry Fizz i first started with the two big white dots for the eyes, Once these are dry i dotted misty jade in the centre of the white dots for the eyes and then again once dry i finally added the white again but with time off centre to the eyes.

Next a drew on the upside -down triangle for the mouth with a rounded peak and the two small tilted triangles for the ears. And the small curl ion the centre for the hair. I then used rose libertine to fill in the mouth.

I sealed it all in with one coat of my prefered top coat. And we’re done.

I hope you found this useful and have fun re-creating the look for yourself.
